Force Majeure

Leaflet Media Surrey is not responsible for failing to fulfil any obligation owed to the client when circumstances arise that are outside our reasonable control. Such circumstances may include, but are not limited to:

• Natural disasters

• War or armed conflict

• Fire

• Industrial action or staff strikes

• Severe weather conditions

If such an event occurs, the client will be notified via email, and work will resume as soon as conditions allow.

 

Distribution Services – Terms & Conditions

 

Pricing

• The service price is the amount quoted by Leaflet Media Surrey at the time of enquiry.

• Quotes remain valid for 30 days from the date issued. Prices may be revised once this period expires.

• We reserve the right to cancel or re-quote a booking if the materials provided differ from the specifications originally agreed.

  • Example: A quote based on A6 flyers being replaced with A5 booklets.

• Full payment is required before any distribution work begins.

• Leaflet collection is not included unless specifically stated. Collection charges depend on distance and the number of boxes.

 

Distribution Conditions

• Distribution will be postponed during heavy rain or snowfall to protect both your promotional material and our staff.

• We cannot guarantee the success of your leaflet campaign. Results may be influenced by factors such as leaflet design, print quality, choice of area, or time of year.

 

Delivery Coverage

Properties may occasionally be missed for the following reasons:

• A “No Junk Mail” notice

• A resident asks the distributor not to deliver

• Dangerous or loose dogs

• Open doors

• Inaccessible buildings or locked blocks of flats

• No visible or reachable letterbox

• Roadworks, construction, or safety concerns

 

Complaints & Refunds

• If a delivery issue is verified, an appropriate refund will be issued.

• All complaints must be submitted within 14 days of the distribution completion date.

• Refunds only apply to areas not shown on the GPS tracking report.

• If we printed your leaflets and an issue affected over 1,000 households, refunds apply to distribution only—entire areas will not be reprinted.

• Cash refunds for print services will only be provided if we supplied the printing.

• Please allow sufficient time for us to investigate before any refund is processed.

 

Printing Services – Terms & Conditions

 

Estimates

• All quotes and estimates may be amended at any stage.

 

Tax

• VAT will be charged where applicable, even if it was not shown on the original estimate or invoice.

 

Artwork / Setup / Design Fees

• Artwork creation or editing is not included in standard pricing and will be invoiced separately.

 

Proofing

• All artwork and PDFs supplied must be professionally prepared and ready for print.

• Files will be checked before production, and clients will be informed of any issues that need correction.

• We accept no liability for mistakes that were not corrected by the client.

• If low-quality artwork is supplied, we are not responsible for any resulting print quality issues.

 

Payment

• Payment in full is required at the time of ordering.

• Cash payments may be made in our office.

• Cheques are accepted by post; please allow 4–5 days for clearance before printing begins.

• An invoice will be issued via email as proof of payment.

 

Delivery

• Prices include delivery to one UK mainland address.

• Faster delivery options can be arranged at an additional cost.

• In the rare event of late delivery due to courier error, force majeure, or access issues, we may extend the turnaround time by 1–2 working days.

 

Quantity Variations

Delivered quantities may vary within the following tolerances:

• Up to ±5% for single-colour jobs

• Up to ±10% for all other jobs

• For quantities over 50,000: ±4% and ±8% respectively

Any additional or missing quantities will be charged or credited accordingly.

 

Liability

• We are not liable for losses caused by delivery delays where the delay is not our fault.

 

Restricted or Unlawful Content

• We will not print material that we believe to be illegal, defamatory, or in breach of copyright or other rights.

• Clients are responsible for ensuring they have permission to use all images, logos, and text submitted for printing.

• We accept no responsibility for copyright infringements committed by the client.

 

Governing Law

• These terms, and any contract arising from them, are governed by English law.

 

 

Full-Colour Printing Disclaimer

• Exact colour matching cannot be guaranteed.

• Matching previously printed items is unlikely due to differences in materials, colour formats, and historical printing methods.

 

Cancellations

• Orders may be cancelled only if artwork has not yet entered print production.
